Welcome to Infinitum

Infinitum is an interactive roleplay community designed to encourage collaborative creativity and support written roleplay hobbyists in their favored pastime. As you can see from the snippet above, the concept is a multiversal community that has been drawn together by this one particular hacker. Elean herself occasionally appears from time to time to give guidance, understanding, or just chat with the various people who have crashed into her little world.

This community fosters the opportunity for three distinct options for character interaction. First, characters may interact in the 《Public Domain》channels. Any character submitted and approved into the Infinitum system may use these channels at any time. Most of this interaction is strictly chat-based. However, some events present the option for "in-person" character interaction. This is the second way that characters interact and can be noted as long or short prose. In-person interactions can be pairs, small groups, or server-wide events and will utilize threads in most cases to keep things tidy. The third option is isolated storyline roleplay. These interactions are independent stories, events, or interactions that are more or less separate from the overarching lore of Infinitum itself. These are windows into worlds beyond our own, seen from a distance without interruption.
