A True Democracy

Are you tired of playing on SMPs where the staff or friends of the owner get special treatment? We all know the feeling. You join a server, grind for hours, only to realize the Admin’s friends are breaking the rules, spawning items, or power-tripping. It ruins the immersion.

Democracy SMP is the answer. It is a server designed to fix that problem by removing the "Admin" from the equation entirely.

Here is the idea:

🚫 The "Janitor" (Server owner) I own the server, but I am not a player. I do not build, I do not trade, and I do not vote. I am simply The Janitor.

I have no favorites.

I do not interfere in gameplay.

My only job is to host the server, ban hackers, and ensure the machinery works.

👑 The King (You) The server is run by The King, a player elected strictly by you, the community.

Real Power: The King decides the server's direction. They decide who gets whitelisted. They create the laws. They manage the server.

The "Lawful Order": This isn't just roleplay. If the King issues a Lawful Order (e.g., "Move your house out of the shopping district" or "Return the stolen diamonds"), you must comply.

Enforcement: If you ignore a Lawful Order, The Janitor steps in. Disobeying the King's legitimate authority is a bannable offense.

⚖️ The Balance Absolute power corrupts, right? Not here. The King only holds power as long as The Majority supports them.

There is a permanent "Vote of Confidence" poll.

If the King acts like a tyrant, ignores the people, or is simply inactive, the community can vote them out instantly.

When the King falls, a new election begins.
