THE UNOFFICIAL DISCORD COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT
Welcome to DCS.
Sometimes a Discord server is great.
Sometimes the moderators are great, the rules make sense, everyone gets along, and nothing completely ridiculous happens.
This is not that place.
DCS is a satirical community for people who have experienced the terrible, ridiculous, toxic, confusing, or downright bizarre side of Discord and the internet.
Bad mods. Stupid rules. Power trips. Unjust bans. Server disasters. Friendship implosions. Online drama. Toxic communities. Bots that somehow make everything worse.
If something happened online and you are still thinking:
"What the hell was that?"
You may be in the right department.
🗣️ WHAT DO WE DO HERE?
You tell us about it.
Share your experiences, discuss online disasters, vent your frustrations, post your receipts, and occasionally laugh at the absolute nonsense humanity manages to create.
Whether your complaint involves:
- A moderator on a power trip
- A ban that makes absolutely no sense
- Rules that apparently apply only to certain people
- Staff behaving badly
- A toxic community
- A friendship that completely imploded
- A server disaster you witnessed in real time
- Gaming community nonsense
- Social media drama
- Websites, apps, groups, or other online communities
- Something so ridiculous that you need to know if anyone else thinks you're crazy
There is probably a department for that.
And if there isn't, we will probably create one and complain about that too.
⚠️ WHAT DCS IS NOT
DCS is not a place to organize attacks against people or communities.
We do not allow:
- Doxxing or exposing private information
- Sharing PII or identifying information
- Raids or brigading
- Harassment campaigns
- Threats or real-world harm
- Targeted attacks
- Revenge campaigns
- Graphic, sexual, or exploitative content
- Posting identifiable information in screenshots or other media
Complaints should focus on the experience, actions, and situation rather than publicly targeting individuals.
Remove identifying information.
Tell the story.
Do not send the department after somebody.
We're here to complain with you, not become part of the problem.
