THE GIFTED An X-Men Roleplay

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, SEPTEMBER 2000

Beyond a set of iron gates exists a school for children that the world has learned to fear. At Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, young mutants are promised more than an education. They are given a place to understand their abilities, find a place among others like them and discover who they might become when they no longer have to hide. Life at Xavier's is measured in the friendships and the rivalries, the secrets being kept and, somewhere between the classes, the curfews and the occasional crises, the strangers who become family along the way.

Outside the Mansion, however, the fear of mutants is spreading. Politicians whisper about registration, while rumours of machines built to hunt mutants never disappear. Professor Charles Xavier still believes that humanity can learn to accept his students, but there are still those out there who believe that co-existence is just another word for surrender.

Will you arrive and show us your gift?
