Welcome to Ors Chandia — a nation shaped by its people.

Ors Chandia is a NationStates-based community focused on building and developing a nation together. Every decision, every political debate and every vote can influence the direction in which our country develops.

At the moment, Ors Chandia is in its founding phase. The full political roleplay system has not yet been established. Instead, we are starting with the foundation of our political system: the people deciding how the nation should develop through Issues.

🏛️ What is Ors Chandia?

Ors Chandia is more than just a NationStates nation. It is an attempt to create a community where players can collectively shape a country.

NationStates Issues present political and social problems and give the nation several possible ways to respond. The decisions made influence the development of the nation, including its political, economic and social characteristics. (NationStates)

In Ors Chandia, these decisions are not simply something that one person decides alone.

Instead, the community gets involved.

When an Issue appears, the relevant options can be presented to the members of the community. Members can discuss the possible choices, argue for their preferred solution and ultimately participate in a vote.

The goal is to make the development of Ors Chandia feel like something that the community builds together.

🗳️ Current System — Issues

For now, Ors Chandia’s political system is deliberately simple.

There is no full political RP yet.

Instead, our main focus is:

Issues → Discussion → Vote → Decision

When a new Issue appears:

The Issue is posted in the appropriate channel.

Members can read the situation and the available options.

Everyone can discuss the different approaches.

Members vote for the option they prefer.

The winning option becomes the community’s decision.

The corresponding choice is then made for Ors Chandia in NationStates.

This gives everyone an opportunity to influence the country, even before a more complex political system is introduced.

The system is intentionally kept simple for now. We want to establish an active community first before introducing complicated institutions, parties, elections or governmental structures.
