"Let's go out with a bang."

The world is still in the hands of Junko Enoshima, her legacy on the world still standing as threatening as ever. Governments all around the world were overthrown and forced into anarchy by their own people after her brainwashing tactics and chaos reigned in the world to the point where the Future Foundation couldn't fight back alone with its minimal numbers. They realized that they needed other Ultimates to help, thus starting a branch of the Future Foundation known as the A.U.T.R., (Association of Ultimate Talents and Restoration).

After hiring various adults to help with the project, they scouted over a dozen of the best highschoolers who possessed Ultimates all around the world to bring into the program who would carry on and produce new ideas to help the Future Foundation. The branch soon realized that they needed the students to all work together, so they decided that the group would finish out their highschool year(s) in an undisclosed place in Japan. This way, they would be able to learn and focus in peace on their studies without having to worry about constant raids from Junko's followers.

Before they would be sent off to Japan, the branch decided they would have them all meet up in New York City, one of the 14 safe zones within America. Here they would be able to socialize for a few days before their designated flight out to Japan, where they would continue their education and grow even closer without fear of the outside world.

✯⋆ Devotion to Despair is a semi-literate roleplay server inspired by the original series, Danganronpa. In a post-apocalyptic world, Junko's legacy still reigns chaos despite the Future Foundation doing everything in their power to prevent the impending doom that is rapidly approaching.
