It wasnt until "the Great Surge" struck that the non-divinationally-enclined individuals realised the catalist that lied under them. Those who were fortunate enough to have practice divination were jeered and slandered as false prophets, beng cast under the guise of pety "doom sayers". While those had their laugh, and others swallowed their shame, the "doom" rumbled from below, piercing the battlefront in the "Mourning Star War". As the mages casted their magics, and the scientists combusted their chemicals and machines, a drill emerged from below. magical and explosive energy swirled around this massive drill, to a point of explosion. the drill lies demolished to the far south of Gloomveil.
